Air India keen to take Boeing jets refused by China airlines

Summary: Air India is interested in acquiring Boeing planes originally intended for Chinese airlines, which were rejected due to reciprocal tariffs. This move, similar to Malaysia Aviation Group’s interest, aims to benefit from the US-China trade war and expedite Air India’s revival. The airline, owned by the Tata Group, seeks to bolster its fleet, particularly for its low-cost subsidiary Air India Express, to compete with IndiGo.
