Less job switching, especially by those in their 20s, suggests growing caution among workers, says MOM
Summary: The share of resident workers who changed jobs in the past year fell to 6.2%, the lowest since 2018, suggesting growing caution among workers amid global uncertainties. This decline was most pronounced among those aged 25 to 29, who remain the most likely to have changed jobs. Despite the decrease in job switching, six in ten full-time employees who changed jobs enjoyed real income growth, indicating opportunities for upward mobility.
