Summary:

  • SMFL LCI Helicopters expanded its helicopter leasing platform by acquiring Macquarie Rotorcraft Limited and helicopter lessors under LCI Investments, adding around 120 leased helicopters and associated goodwill to the transportation segment

  • The group also agreed to participate, via SMBC Aviation Capital, in a consortium acquiring U.S.-listed Air Lease Corporation, positioning itself for further scale and leadership in global aircraft leasing while acting as asset servicer for the future Sumisho Air Lease fleet

  • A dividend of ¥373 per share (totaling about ¥32.6 billion) was paid in June 2025 out of retained earnings, and management reports no significant changes in financial instruments, securities or derivatives versus the March 2025 year-end
