YHI International warns of FY2025 net loss as US tariffs force factory closures in China and Taiwan
Summary:
-
YHI International expects to report a net loss for both 2HFY2025 and full-year FY2025 ended 31 December 2025, reversing the profit recorded in FY2024
-
The loss stems primarily from the closure of manufacturing facilities in Suzhou, China and Taiwan, driven by adverse impacts from US tariff policies on the Group's wheels manufacturing business
-
YHI is consolidating its wheels production into its Malaysia factory, with the restructuring expected to complete by end-1HFY2026
-
The Suzhou factory closure was previously disclosed in the 1HFY2025 results announcement on 13 August 2025
-
Final audited results will be released by 27 February 2026, and the Board has cautioned shareholders to exercise care when trading the stock
