Acesian flags swing to FY2025 loss before tax on revenue slump and margin compression
Summary:
-
Acesian Partners expects to report a significant decline in revenue and a loss before tax for FY2025, reversing a profit position in FY2024.
-
The revenue drop is mainly driven by a lack of project-based orders, with profitability further hit by reduced gross profit margin, lower finance income, and higher administrative and other operating expenses.
-
The second half of FY2025 is expected to show materially higher revenue and a lower loss than the first half, helped by better gross margins and reduced other operating expenses.
-
The group will release its full unaudited FY2025 results on or before 1 March 2026 and advises shareholders to exercise caution when dealing in its shares.
