Skylink Holdings to Accelerate Expansion of its Fast-Growing Credit Business via Proposed Bond Issuance

  • Proposed issuance of 2-year Unlisted, Non-Convertible and Non-Transferable Bonds of up to S$5.0 million, 8.0% per annum coupon rate, payable semi-annually (the “Hire Purchase Bonds”).

  • Net proceeds to specifically fund expansion of loan books (via organic growth and/or M&A) under the Group’s Credit Business segment, which provides hire purchase financing solutions.

  • The Group has progressively expanded its hire purchase’s loan book from S$24.16 million in FY2023 to S$66.24 million in FY2026, representing a robust CAGR of approximately 40.0% over 3 yrs (FY2023-2026).

  • If fully subscribed, the Hire Purchase Bonds could potentially support at least S$30 million of additional loan book growth, increasing the Group’s loan book to more than S$100 million across FY2027 and FY2028.

  • Based on historical performance, for every S$1 of capital deployed into its hire purchase loan book, the Group’s Credit Business had been able to earn more than S$0.30 (or at least 30% return), with the financed commercial vehicle assets serving as collateral.

  • The Group maintained a Non-Performing Loan ratio at below 0.5% and delinquency ratio of below 2% for FY2026 and recorded zero default rate across all its banking relationships since business inception, reflecting its disciplined credit standards and strong track record in this business segment.

Commenting on the issuance of the Hire Purchase Bonds:

Mr Wesley Shen (沈文德), Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer of Skylink Holdings, said:

“This fundraising plan is meant to expand the Group’s Credit Business, which is backed by our disciplined credit track records with banks and strict internal risk assessment process. We will continue to support the hire purchase financing needs of our SME customers, being part of our integrated

commercial vehicle business ecosystem.”

Mr Teh Wing Kwan (郑永权), the Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Skylink Holdings, said:

“As we continue to scale our Credit Business, the non-dilutive Hire Purchase Bond provides a balanced funding structure and financial runway to further grow our hire purchase loan books from the current base of S$66.24 million, noting that the financial performance of such loan books may vary, depending on the timing of proceeds deployment, lending yields and funding costs.”
